I have a UK site, which is hosted in the UK. I'm outside the UK but I can see it rank well for competitive keywords in the datacenter that hits my computer 66.102.9.104, however the site has had very low traffic in the last few weeks which I found strange. I checked to see what positions it was on other datacentres using popular web tools but I can't find the site anywhwere in the rankings, which would explain the low traffic.

Is there any explanation as to why it ranks in a minority of datacentres (which don't seem to hit the UK anyway) and not the rest? If results propagate which direction is this most likely to go?

Google has several slightly different sets of results in play, as well as one or two DCs that they "experiment" with from time to time.

Where it will go, no-one can tell; but if you watch long enough, you can begin to make some educated guesses.
