Related:www.mysite.com returns "did not match any documents" - there are plenty of sites that sell what I sell (I rank #5 or higher for keywords).
Should I worry that Google somehow doesn't lump me in with all the other widget sellers, even though I rank fairly well?

Hi, if your site is about six months old or newer, you won't see any "related" links. Fear not, Google knows, they just don't display it until a couple of page rank updates occur (related links has in my experience updated along with page rank)

I too am seeing this - I've also been stuffed by the 950 filter but although I cannot be certain, I think it may have previously shown some related results. Is there any known meaning to this is a site that previously displayed 'similar pages' but no longer does?

my site in question is over 7 years old, PR4. No clue why the related:www.site.com isn't working anymore, it used to.
