Message Too Old, No Replies

Only 3 URLs under site: search - then an "omitted results" link

Is my website crashed in sandbox?

site:example.com>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
only 3 title listed, and followed showing in the bottom:
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 3 already displayed.

Kicked in the sandbox?

How long can mysite come up?

[edit reason] switch to example.com - it will never be owned [/edit]

This is a relatively new thing - but it is happening to many many sites now. Some members here are simply saying that the site: operator is broken. So no, this does not mean you are now sandboxed.

A better tool to use might be

inurl:www.example.com

I have a lot of sites where it only shows one result and then filters with the site command, but my logs show that those supposedly omitted results are ranking and collecting traffic.

What happens when you click the "repeat the search" link? Do any other pages appear?

I am seeing a lot of 1 to 3 of 3 results, that then reveal things like 1 to 200 of 200 when you click that link.

When I click the "repeat the search" link ,other page is displayed, shows :Results 1 - 10 of about 20,800 from www.example.com
Others said if i put some new and high quality in my website,it will be ok in the next google "refresh".

Using the "inurl" tool ,it seems much worse, only 1 page in list.

Yea - but is there an omitted results link? If so, how many pages do you get when you click that?

Sounds like the pages are in the Supplemental Index

Results 1 - 10 of about 20,800 from www.example.com

Without seeing the results I can only guess, but this very often happens as a result of the dupe content filter. Are the page titles and snippets of these pages very similar? Are these "thin" pages without much different content?

For a site of 60 pages having “everything” unique on it
the site command mentions
Results 1 - 10 of about 24
At the bottom it says Result Page: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 Next
supplemental results start at #27

the inurl command mentions
Results 1 - 2 of 2
repeat the search with the omitted results included.
than I get
Results 1 - 10 of about 27
At the bottom it says Result Page: Previous 1 2 3 Next

I can not say this is broken it makes some kind of sense
(about 30 pages are added 2 to 4 month ago)
