Hi all,
I was helping run a small website, which used to have a PR of about 4 or 5 and was doing ok.

Then we added AdSense to the pages and for the last few months we've completely dropped out of Google, and now our PR has disappeared.

Anyone have any ideas why this would happen? All the content is original. I cant help wonder if we're being penalised for adding AdSense, but that makes no sense.

Check out Google's webmaster tools to see what errors (if any) Google is reporting for your site.

By the way, welcome to WW!

And also by the way, no URLs means no URLs- the reason for wanting to post them doesn't matter.

Candidly, if your content was all original and had a reason for being other than just as a framework for AdSense, I'd be very surprised if adding AdSense got you banned. You might look to inbound link quality.

Also, check up in Hot Topics pinned at the top of the Google Search Home page. There are several threads on why sites might suddenly drop or disappear.
