Any one know why Dmoz has had a PR 0 on and off the past few days?

I think this is a ToolBar glitch. I'm seeing it as an TBPR8 or a TBPR0, depending on how I get to it.

If I use the link from the local start page on my computer, then DMOZ and all its internal pages stay at zero, no matter how much I navigate, refresh, etc. When I then follow a link to another site from this TBPR0 DMOZ, the new site will show TBPR, but if I hit the back button, DMOZ shows TBPR0 again.

On the other hand, apparently any other way of navigating to DMOZ shows TBPR8. This includes...

- putting the url into the address bar (even when I'm sitting at my local start page)
- putting the url into the address bar when I'm at another page on the web that shows PR
- or searching for it on Yahoo and clicking the link to DMOZ.

I see 8 for dmoz.org but 0 for www.dmoz.org.

dmoz appears to have recently stopped redirecting www to non-www , i think

So they have www, which has no Google TBPR, and their non-www that has the normal TBPR

But do they care, off course not :)

I see 8 for dmoz.org but 0 for www.dmoz.org.

Confirming this. I changed the link from my local start page to the non-www version, and voila, the green bar.

So much for assuming that posters above you have checked out the posts above them. ;)
