Hello first of all I need to know something. My old domain and website gets about 50 visitors each week (pityful i know). But i recently got a domain name exactly in my niche that still gets about 200 visitors a month and incidentally has a Google PR 5. My site currently has a PR 2.
Ok should i redirect the PR 5 to my same regular website, or should i change the hosting to fit the new domain name and then redirect the old name.

So the current site has a name www.widget1234.com with the PR 2 and 50 visitors and my new domain is 1234widget.com with the 200 visitors and PR 5. Which one would help for Google Ranking? Help Pleeeese.

No certaintly that you'll keep the rank, ranking and vivitors of the new domain, even if your content is pretty similar to the old content.

BUT, as your current site isn't dong so well, it may be a risk worth taking, so long as you are SURE the new domain is clean and untarnished (check Google and the wayback machine).

Whatever you do, be sure to use a 301 from one to t'other, and d from domain.com to www.domain.com

Then start getting new and updated links and more content.

If the new domain is .info or .biz, ignore the above.
