PR1, no back links.

Hi. I was checking an old website of mine which I built when I was studying html. That page has no backlinks according to Google Toolbar but it has a PageRank 1. How is this possible?

Google doesn't report all the backlinks it knows about - just a sample. See:
The Google link: Operator [webmasterworld.com] - it's not like other search engines!

By the way, MSN's Live Search also disabled their link operators recently and ASK never had them. Looks like Yahoo! is, for the moment, the only solid place to look for link data.

Does the Yahoo toolbar contain a backlink search function like Google's toolbar? I'm tempted to install a Yahoo toolbar now.
