Question 1:

When I search google with my domain name I get a result and a subresult like:

Old Title
---------
oldblahblahblah
www.mydomain.tld/

``````New Title
``````---------
``````newblahblahblahblah
``````www.mydomain.tld/index.php

The problem is that the main result is my old home page. The one I have now is the subresult (titled:"Other Title")
How can I get rid of the first result? Or make it the same as the second one?

BTW Yahoo lists:

New Title
---------
newblahblahblahblah
www.mydomain.tld

, which is what what I would like Google to show

Does the old page still exist?

If it has been removed, and you've 301'd to the new url (pref domain.com), then it's just a matter of time.

Two things to consider:

A Google site map - if, and only if there's no problem with meta tags or duplicate content - and xenu.

You may have an orphan page, kept 'alive' by external links.
