Hey guys, the more and more i search for Canadian Content the more u.s. sites show up. It seems that google is forcing the larger u.s. sites into the top 10 and squeezing out all relavant Canadian based sites out!

I have nothing against U.S....in fact i spend just as much time in the U.S. as I do in Canada. But even when you use google.ca, select Canada sites it still shows majority U.S.

Google should have more responsible for other countries content. If google is going to continue to be the big search monopoly as it is then they should have more respect for other countries content.

What's next Google? Sending in the troops?

It could be that those "US" sites you see have their web servers located in Canada in term of IP address.

Matt Cutts wrote recently in a comment [mattcutts.com]:

"A couple factors that we’ve mentioned are TLD (com vs. co.uk) and where the web server is located in terms of IP address."
