SERPs that include a "Plus Box" with a map to your store?

Was searching and noticed a result with a
"+" (plus sign) that opened a map to the location of the company.

That was neat, I would like the same for our searches.

This way when local customers find us in the results, they can get directions to our store from our google listing.

How did they do this?

Found it!

Just go-to google maps and enter your information along with your url and it should show up with your google search results.

has anyone seen any evidence of these plus boxes with maps increasing conversions?

My theory is that if potential customers can see where you are, then it might add a little extra confidence in what you are selling.

I got my card about 4 weeks ago and am still waiting "up to 6 weeks" for the update.
