The sidebar of my Wordpress blog uses the 'Recently Posted' plugin and displays the last ten posts. I also have a list of products that I reviewed listed on the sidebar as well. Now whenever google indexes the content of my site my old posts are replaced in google search results by my new posts because of the content of the sidebar. So when someone does a google search for a particular product the search result returns with the product name highlighted in the sidebar of a new post as opposed to returning the result with the post that I wrote reviewing the product. I hope I am not being too confusing.
I've followed all the information in the previous thread - however, I cant seem to configure my Wordpress blog so that google doesn't index the content of my sidebar.
Also, my sidebar loads up before the content of the blog. I have tried to change that but it only ends up distorting the blog. I have done repeated searches on this issue both on this site and through google and I have yet to find a solution.
