Hello All,

I have many websites to do SEO Campaign on it. We have noticed that many of the website are now suffering its ranking and going behind 10 or more....

We think that the problem is one way link poiting towards website. Becoz we have pointed one way links on our websites and the results are dropping on all our websites.

Can you people advice us what is it? is it the problem of one way links or there is new strategy for ranking according to google.

Please advice us

Many Thanks

Links TO your site will never harm you, UNLESS part of a link exchange or similar scheme.

Much more likely to be a problem is your OUTgoing links.

In general, SEs recognise that you choose your outgoing links (and therefore are 'responsible' for them), while you do not usually control links TO your site, so you are deemed NOT to be responsible, with the exception above.

Or it may be another problem entirely!

you seem to be saying the links are from your own websites?

Hmm, kinda interesting outgoing links causing a problem. Maybe google is picking up on out going linking themes on a site and dropping the value of our sites to -30 to -950. Quality sites
get caught up in the sweep.

I reckon soapy's question is key;

If there's a ring of sites all linking to one, and all are controlled together .... we're possibly looking at a plain old fashioned link exchange scheme, but a 'private' one?

Does it not all come back to the age, authority, history thing? How many outbound and inbound links does Myspace have for example? It may not be the best example but the point is I think you need to earn your stipes. To answer the question you need to see all of the parts of the puzzle.
