Hi All

In one of my sites, I am keen on using sub-domains for various reasons, compartmentalisation , control, theme, hosting, database size, speed, etc

Anyway, problem is that although I've managed to submit the sub domain to a few human reviewed directories that accept sub domains, an used some deep links from directories that offer deeplinks plus the main listing,

The index page remains supplemental, google reports none of the links, some of the sub domains pages have come out of supplemental but the index page is still supplemental, tho all the links point at it

I'd appreciate suggestions

I don't think it's the fact that it's a subdomain. Also a some deep links can help you get out but a lack of deep links doesn't cause a page to go supplemental.

There are so many reasons it could be supplemental. It takes time but the best thing is to read through various threads like the ones on the 950 penalty and any talking about penalties or filters. There is never an easy answer and reading through all these threads can help you see what might be affecting you.

Don't go by the Google backlinks as they never show all of them. Try Yahoo site explorer if you want to see if they have linked to you.
