Hi,
I was just wondering if Google has stopped paying attention to spam reports... or is it that hidden text with keywords stuffed in <NO FRAMES> tags or pushed at the bottom of the page with the vertical scrollbar disabled (so a normal user cannot view it) no longer qualifies as spam?

To my pleasant surprise, it actually does - sometime I see the offending website gone in less than a week.

If the offense is particularly egregious, Google may remove it by hand. However, they do prefer to use webspam reports to work on the holes in their algorithm. If they can improve the algorithm, that solution scales - hand removal does not.
