In a recent conversation with Matt Cutts at the SESA show in London Matt had the following to state when asked:

Chris: Crystal ball time, where do you see Google going in the next 3-5 years?

Matt: Fantastic question, in my own opinion – personalization, and localization. Also if you have your data, you can store it at Google. You can almost start your own business of 5-10 business for free. Google’s ambition to organize the worlds information, this is really where its going

Any thoughts on this?

Google's next goal is to become "God" ...kidding. Google will, in the end, tower over Babel and make the quest for God-like knowledge a reality. Such vast amounts of information, brain-power, and money at Google's fingertips make it only a matter of time...IMHO

I think it will become increasingly harder for Google to hold up to it's motto, "...don't be evil".

Did Matt Cutts have anything else to say about Google Search (besides references to personalization and localization)?
