My sitemap page word density

Hi everyone,
Just after some opinions here.

I have been comparing my keyword density to my competition to try and make sure I haven't overdone it.

I was fine of course, but with one exception and that was my sitemap page.

As my sitemap page has little content except links to internal pages and most links refer to a page that includes my kewords, I find I have a density of up to 10% for two of my keywords.

Yet, Google indexes this page fine. None of my other pages exceed 2.2% and I worry that some more keywords would be classed as spam.

So my question is this, do you think google measures your keywords differently if they are contained within a menu or text link, rather than just plain text?

Opinions please.

Google indexes this page fine.

Then there's your answer, right? I don't see evidence for Google computing keyword density -- at least not directly. They use more sophisticated measures for relevance these days, and you can rank well with 1% or 20% density.
