Should I name my images index?>

Do googlebots like it?

Would you recommend naming my images index_x.jpg where x could be any number? Then have the ALT tag describe the image? Sounds strange, but I think I will give it a shot.

The spiders tend to index files with the "index" file name in my opinion.

Any thoughts?
