i think it is because new posts get put on the homepage, then categories into months and then a category. so there are 3 links to the post listing.
i was wondering if anyone new why they were supplemental?
secondly to solve this i had several ideas. firstly to make it not show the archive for that month e.g. if it is February then take the February link out.
Secondly to post in as many different categories as possibly, reducing the pages being identical.
My third solution was to make the home page link short e.g. a title, the image and 200 characters of the post with a link to read more.
will these solutions work? or are the a waste of time?
