Hi,

I am running a vbulletin forum with vBSEO & VBSEO Sitemap generator installed. Also my non-www url is 301ed to www url.

Now when i'm checking my sitemap in Google Webmaster tools a few errors are appearing for a few lines:

"Paths don't match"

The urls are:

1. Main Homepage www-url with trailing slash(http://www.example.com/)
2. 4 vBSEO Category links ( http://www.example.com/category1/)
3. 5 vBSEO Forumdisplay urls ( http://www.example.com/category1/index3.html

Can anybody please advice how to resolve them.

Thank you.:)

(I'm sorry if it's a wrong section)

What you are reporting seems nearly unexplainable - so I understand the lack of discussion.

I've never run vbulletin or the SEO add-ons, so hands-on experience with your software is not what I can offer. But faced with such a curious report, I would first suspect something misconfigured on the server. Have you examined the server headers when you make requests for those urls? (Firefox plus the LiveHTTPheaders extension is one way to do this.)

I would also suggest a close look at your raw server logs for what is happening when googlebot makes those requests -- I wouldn't trust a log analysis program for the job.
