It just happened

A lot of pages urls were changed and now the old urls went into supplemental results but the new one are working

shouls I worry abotu supplemental pages because they do not contain any data or text, they are blank 404 pages.

Should I still do the redirects?

Search for the exact URL of each of your old pages at Yahoo. If it reports any inbound links for one of your pages, you should install a redirect to keep getting the benefit of the link.

Sorry, I meant search for your URL prefix by "link:". that is, search for link:http://www.example.com/

The old URLs will continue to show as Supplemental Results for a year.

Make sure that they really do return a HTTP status code of either 301 or 404.

For 404 pages make sure that the custom error page contains enough basic site navigation to get the user on their way again.
