Dropped from Yahoo Directory > Dropped in Google?

I noticed that our ranking for our best keyword had dropped. I started searching around through these forums for hints, along with our site...

I was lead to believe by posts here that its likely my site had dropped to the end of the first page in Google because of some penalty... Likely because of over-optimization. Indeed my site is very optimized for this keyword, so I took out all "un-natural" placement of it.

Later, I noticed Yahoo Directory had dropped our site. We still occur in the same very-high rankings in Yahoo... I e-mailed Yahoo this problem as a Bug Report... Likely nothing will come of this.

Its hard to establish credibility through the words of the site's owner, but to be unbaised; the site was the most popular site in that General portion of the Yahoo Directory (sort by Popularity). The site it self is now 7 years old. Huge forum, lot's of great content.

What do I do?!
