I currently have hundreds of URLs that are mirror copies of our homepage. What i need to do is tell google that they are actually the same page as the homepage so that the homepage doesn't get penalised for duplicate content. These other pages obviously don't do very well in google. What I am trying to decide upon is whether to return a 301 page moved permanently header or to just delete the pages alltogether. What effect would either approaches have on my homepage and site as a whole?
