Hi there, I have the following site
.co.uk site

It has been going about 12 months and has a good position in Google for relevant keywords. I have just purchased the .com version from someone. I am going make the .com an alias to the .co.uk

I would like people to begin using the .com domain rather than the .co.uk one as the site is not UK focused and also because I think people take .com domains more seriously than .co.uks. However what I do not want to happen is to lose my position in Google.

Can anyone tell me I would get Google to start linking to the .com rather than the .co.uk. And does this mean I have to start again with a link building campaign for .com or is there anyway to transfer to page rank I have for .co.uk to .com

Thanks for the help.

Andy
