Do Link Directories no longer work?

I've been off the ball some time!

I've not read up on search engine opt, for around 12 months now, but noticed my links directory (ran with Recprocal Manager) now has all links pages with a PR of 0.

Please could somebody advise me of what Google have implemented which would explain why this has happened, and advise what the first step should be?

Cheers.

Bump.

My site has also dropped from the first page to the second page.

Could be that

(a) the software you use can be detected, Google doesn't like it and has PR zeroed accordingly
(b) you're linking to bad neighbourhoods and you've been penalised for that
(c) TBPR is broken for (parts of) your site and the PR0 is inaccurate.

Hello,

In my case it's working very fine. I have a 4 sites with link directories. All have PR 3 from 0.
