Google: the .com theft

Google the worlds number one search engine is using its .com domain to feauture US influenced results. In every other country in the world .com is considered a site of worldwide value. But companies such as google consider all US sites of worldwide importance above .coms hosted elsewhere. The same value is not extended to any other .com domain hosted outside the states. Google have incorrectly appointed .com to represent US results and failed to comply with there country domain. By providing a USA influenced result on google.com they have seeked to gain an advantage worldwide for USA based sites.

Every other Google has local preferences; Google.co.uk favors either UK hosting, or .co.uk in preference to .com or outside-UK hosting - Other Googles have similar behaviour.

Google .com is BOTH the local service for the US (there is no separate Google.us) AND the global Google service.

If you do not like that, there is an amazingly simple solution.

Clue: Use YOUR LOCAL Google - that DOES NOT favor .com - it downgrades it (unless locally hosted, when it gets treated the same). AND it doesn't favor US-hosted sites either ;)

Meanwhile, everyone else in the world DOES favor .com - hadn't you noticed? :)
