Importance of keyword density in Google SERP and indexing a site

I would like to know how Google calculate SERP and what is the important or weight age of keyword density in SERP and indexing the pages

I think it is more about balance and not necessarily density. If you look at the top 30 results, you will see keyword densities all over the place. It is really all about having a natural balance from top to bottom and left to right. ;)
