Google Sitemaps URL Not Followed Error: 301 (Moved Permanently)

Anyone else notice the new error detail 301 (Moved Permanently) under URLs not followed in their Google Sitemaps account? This is my first time seeing this error detail and it's not listed on the Webmaster help page [google.com] for URLs not followed.

Since Redirect error is a separate error detail, I don't think this indicates that there was an issue with my 301, but that a 301 was present, so the URL was not followed.

Is this error code new and what exactly does it mean?
