Does submitting a sitemap to google get google to index all your pages?
I recently built a site that has 104 pages and when I searched my site i.e. site:www.example.com, only one page came up?
I submitted a sitemap yesterday and I'm still getting the same results.

Submitting your site to sitemaps alone does'nt mean your SEO work is done. Google sitemap just helps you in crawling your site. It takes its time to crawl the site. See whether you have good architecture to your site. Have good links pointing to your site.

Also - be careful, submitting a sitemap for a poorly optimised site can make things worse. Try some searches on this forum for 'sitemap supplemental' for some examples of people (like me) who've been bitten!
