In google webmaster tools, my website is listed and verified. Its new, up since end of Nov. Under crawl stats, it lists pages with highest pagerank for all three months but continues to display "Data is not available at this time." for The PageRank of your pages in Google. Is this because the site is new? How long does it take to get ranked? How come it can rank the top pages on the site for each month but not give the pagerank for the pages in google?
This is my first post on here. Love this site and hope this is the right place to post. I have been searching for a thread that might deal with this. If you know of one, please point me to it.

thanks

Hello reprint, and welcome to the forums. I don't think you can read anything into that webmaster tools message beyond what it literally says. The past weeks have been somewhat chaotic in ther "Tools" for many people.

To understand more about what it takes for new sites to get well indexed and start showing Google traffic, try this thread:
The Google Sandbox [webmasterworld.com] - building trust to get beyond the filters

This one too, if you haven't seen it yet:
Successful Site [webmasterworld.com] - in 12 Months with Google Alone

The Webmaster Tools will show the site owner fresher PR related information than the general public can see in the toolbar -- because you are authenticated as the owner. They do not expose that more recent information to the general public, or to your competition.
