I'm new to Webmaster World and have a Google issue that I hope a guru can help me sort out. My site does well in a competitive market but over the last month I've started to slide due to some Timeout issues that I can't get my head around.
Does anyone know how a step-by-step diagnosis for the error:
"We can't currently access your home page because of a timeout"
I find this error on the Diagnostic Summary page of Webmaster Tools.
I have not changed anything with my DNS settings, size of average pages, or the Robot.txt file. So I'm looking to find a way to diagnose the issue before I lose rankings.
