If the company name is fairly long - mine is 3 words that are all joined as one so there is no real SEO benefit.
Is it best to go for just keywords and forget the company name, or should it still be in there - what about order of the words also?
company name then keywords
or
Keywords then company name
or just
Keyword List
cheers
Putting the page's title (not its domain name), is a sensible thing to do, provide the page has a sensible (relevant) title.
Also, think big: SEs will be indexing every page, and each page needs a unique title. Logically, you want to get the page title, site title and any key words not covered by them.
If you use key words sensibly, thoughout your ste, then "page tile, section title, site title" isn't a bad way to go. eg
"Flying Blue Widgets, Mobile Widgets from Catch A Widget, Inc"
"Floating Widgets, Mobile Widgets from Catch A Widget, Inc"
"Red Widgets, Color Widgets from Catch A Widget, Inc"
So the main page title might be
"Catch A Widget, Inc - mobile, color and splendiferous widgets"; using all key section words plus the title.
Makes sense to potential visitors AND to SEs. Your mileage may vary.
