Good enough for google images but not main search results

I'm kind of upset that my sites are good enough to feed google image results but are "banned" from the regular SERPs. I just did an "add url" to see if I can be spidered again for organic text results.

I appreciate at leasst getting image results but it's not fair.

Google Images doesn't have the trust parameter applied.
The index has a threshold whereas you'll need trust to enter the league...

I suppose it's a pretty competitive area, or you're checking very broad key terms, right?

I lost trust for my main site then.

So I figure that site is a "lost cause"....correct assumption, right?

Instead I'm focusing on making new sites and blogs for 2007 and making sure there are links added daily from all the major "trusted authority sites"...

"Authority" is the key buzzword for SEO as we start 2007. Right?

But thanks for clearing that up...no trust parameter for images...got it.

Not gonna go deep into this but I think you are giving up on the site too soon.

Let us imagine that there is a reason you appear on google image and not on google web search. The simplest way to suggest an answer comes form 1) the name of your files which are images - hence before you load a picture to a server RIGHT CLICK the image itself and add tags to it (works in most image formats) and then 2) rename with the keywords placed before the image extension and 3) then lastly send a rapid download engine on proxy to hit your site so that downloads are at least higher if not several times higher than pageviews.-..

THIS IS NOT SOMETHING ONE SHOULD DO:
what I write - if you do it badly can actually hurt you BUT IF DONE WITH CARE and done correctly it can help.

Here goes: If you use a STABLE proxy not one of those that keeps shifting on port 8080 ever x-seconds --- and you use a ssh connection on say port 22 with a LARGE stable SERVER you can boost your ranking if you WORK IN MODERATION.

To do this there are many tools (email me if you want names of products) which IF USED ON A PORT 22 server system will help you greatly.

Per example:

On the stable proxy for 1) hits on downloaded images, 2) pageviews (with such things an an OPERA refresh set at big intervals on computers that are left on all year - say a refresh with OPERA at ever 15 minutes and 20 seconds and 3) other "tools for other factors" + which means I can not reveal all, sorry :)

hey, there's some cool peeps on this thread.

it's a 2 year old site with PR4 so i shouldn't give up.

ok, i get the part about image tags. i should start doing that.

but the proxy stuff i need to figure out (can i do this from my laptop on a static IP per session DSL line), or outsource:)

Having some images show up for keywords people compete for in web search like madness, while not having the site show up in the index with a single URL - even though it's both relevant and has a higher PR than some of the pages on the SERPs - was THE scare why we had to learn about trust. Even if you're right on trust being applied to G Images it has a way lower threshold than web search.
