" Home page crawl:
Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Nov 18, 2006. "
Yet my logs show that the googlebot has been downloading my home page several times in the last days. Other parts of the webmaster tools seem to be accurate and up to date, like Crawl rate.
Then there's the scary "There are no pages from your site listed in Google's index." (I paraphrased.) After you recover from your heart attack upon seeing this message, you find that there are indeed pages indexed, so the message is wrong (thankfully).
Google also lists a page on my site as having the highest Page Rank, when it makes absolutely no sense that page would rank higher than the home page, or quite a few other pages for that matter. In fact, according to Yahoo, only one inbound link on a PR4 site links to it. All other links are internal. It just doesn't compute.
Andy, if you could send me a sticky mail with your site, I can take a look at the PageRank issue you mention. The information we show regarding the page with the highest PageRank tends to be more up-to-date than the toolbar PageRank, so it is likely correct, even if its seems unusual, but I'm happy to take a closer look and verify that.
