After 2 months without any visitors coming from google image I discovered that my images (food recipes) are filtered by Google with a moderate filtering. I really cannot imagine why. If someone is hit hit by the same absurd filter, please let me know.

what do you have for alt tags and link text on those images?
perhaps google image search has nothing to go on so they err on the side of caution.

The alt tags give the subject of the images. In facI I also wonder if this filter isn't responsable for the sudden drop in rankings for my entere site on Google.com. Does anyone has the same z experience?

Not exactly the same problem but I discovered a oddity about the moderate filter. With no filtering I have an image that shows up for example as result 50. Turning the filter on actually makes it drop to 60.... Strange because you would expect a filter to remove results but in this case it's actually introducing results.

I just discovered that a few other sites are hit by the same filter "moderate adult", while those sites have no adult content ar all. If your lost rankings since last August, could you check your images on Google image, with and without adult filter. You could be surprised.
