Scan Alert - Can listing there affect your ranking on Google?

We have recently purchased ScanAlert Service to "increase" the conversion rate.

As a part of the service the company had posted our URL on their site. 4-5 links from PR- 5-6 directory pages. Today our home page is gone from SERP for #1 term we ranked for.

So my question is: what does it have to do with my rankings on G, if any?
