Sentence repetition and the danger of it

to save time, as part of differents picture description, I'm repeanting the same sentence 4 time in a page.

example: hot----white african widgets Archive
cold---white african widgets Archive
warm---white african widgets Archive
iced---white african widgets Archive

this is done simply to save time and not for keyword stuffing or other purpose, but I don't know How it will perceived by google.

will I get away with it or will I be penalized in case of someone reporting it to google as spam.

Don't let anyone dictate what you put on your website. It's yours and if there is good reason for doing so, then do it.

I think that if you feel it is not correct you should correct it for your users.

I wouldn't do that, remember dup content is a filter, not a penalty. It would be better SEO imo to change em around some.

I am very concerned about sentence repetition in my forum installation, in that members like to quote laqrge bodies of text from eachother. To try and control this, I have asked them to only quote when absolutely necessary and only the pertinent points. I have instructed my mods to delete any unnecessary quotes. I have also disabled quote embedding, which will stop endless cascades of repeated text in each forum thread.
I don't think you should worry if it is legitimate reason to do so but repeaing many times and with long sentences, this would indeed cause you problems.

I have a forum, and the only dup problems come from urls with SIDs. People quoting one another has never been a problem. I have found many threads in the serps that contain quotes with no problems.
