Dear Friends,

I submitted my site to google in July 2006. Googlebot visits my site regularly but doesn't index it. [google.com...] indicates no error. Well, what is the problem with my site?
Please help me. My URL:<snip>
Thank you so much for your help in advance.
Regards, Rudolf

Welcome to Webmasterworld Rudolf! :)

We don't allow people to post their URLs here so please remove it before a moderator does!

Do you have many links to your site? You need some good quality links or Google won't list your site.

I have about 250 links to my site. The most important is yahoo.
Thank you, if you have any idea.

rudi and anyone else building new sites.

Be certain that any directories that you submit to actually provide a link to you.

Those links you think you have may not be links at all.

Rex Swain has a nice little tool.

In your case rudi about 20% of the pages the reference your domain are not actually providing a link to you.

Googlebot visits your site regularly?

What do you consider to be regular?

I submitted my site to google in July 2006.

I'd say you've still got a little time before you really start to see any activity. Googlebot will continue to index your site but that doesn't mean that you'll be ranking.

If you do a site:example.com search in Google, are your pages getting indexed properly? If so, then just give it a little more, it will come.

But, it will only come if you've been "doing the right thing".

I have about 250 links to my site.

How did you get 250 links since 2006 July?

pageonresults,

He currently has no entries in Google's index for the domain in question.

rudi should also check the wayback machine to see if anything is availible for that domain and if so what was on it, it could be a banned domain.

He currently has no entries in Google's index for the domain in question.

I'll assume three things in this instance. One, the PageRank™ of the site has not been established yet. Two, as you mention, there may be some history there affecting the domain. And three, there could be current strategies in place that are affecting the domain.

Do you appear for a "company name" search? If not, then there are usually issues to address.
