I work for a big Portal site which seems to be penalized by Google in the following way: when people are searching for "oneword secondword thirdword" we (mydomain.blah.bl) are at a high position (e.g. no#1). But when asking "oneword secondword thirdword mysubdomain" (i.e., adding the word existing in URL) we are dropping out of any visible area...

Welcome to the forums, OnetSzukaj. That's an interesting report. I just made a few test searches and I do not see this kind of filtering in any of the subdomain cases I tried.

So it seems that there's more involved than just one factor. I wonder if it's related to Google combatting wildcard subdomain spam?
