First of all, Welcome to WebmasterWorld.
I wouldn't worry too much about having a week old website with only one page indexed. Crawlers found your website, and grabbed the home page, and took note of the links on it, and probably scheduled the links they found to be crawled later. It could be a few days to several weeks before they crawl your inside pages.
There are a few things to consider:
1. Do you have regular links to your inside pages from your home page? If the links are buried in Flash, or use Javascript, the chances are they won't be crawled.
2. Do you have some external links pointing to your website? Generally, the more external links you have to your site, the deeper your site will be crawled. If your internal pages don't get crawled in a reasonable amount of time, you might want to consider getting some more inbound links.
Hope this helps.
