Anyone else seeing this?

I have a forum site. Querying Google for the name of the site one got dozens of .info sites including snippets from its content.

Now I can only see valid and genuine sites mentioning my forum. These results were generated my default Google DC.

I tried on a couple of other DCs, but they show the same old scrapers, on e.g. [64.233.183.99,...] [66.102.9.99,...] [66.102.11.99,...] [216.239.59.99....]

While typing this I tried to find out what datacenter the search bar that came with my FireFox used. Repeating my query now I see the same scraper sites that were missing a few minutes ago.

Is Google tweaking? Coincidence with their planned and announced AdSense maintenance?

Google is making changes to adsense and adwords. It would not suprise me that google is cracking down a bit on scraper sites that have no real content. Its a win/win for advertisers, publishers with real good content and googles image.

That would be real nice...maybe I might regain some of my positions lost due to content theft and other malicious activities all the 14 year olds and usual middle aged perverts are up to.

We all work hard to provide decent content only for it to be ripped off in 15 seconds flat with some page downloader software *$!&.

Fingers crossed...

I do not know, we looked at some results today and noticed the scrapers were replaced by hidden text keyword stuffers. We are trying to report them via the webmasters tools, but the "service is unavailable"
