Hello

I would be happy if anybody can answer my problem..

My website(Home Page) ranks #1 for a high competitive keyword on Google.com.

However my inner page does not seem to appear in the results for specific keywords..

I link to inner pages with from home page with part of the keywords as anchors.

Is there anything that can be done to rank them on Google.com

Also does Google.com ban any website for a particular keyword and rank for remaining keywords.

Regards
Praveen

Inbound links from other domains are one strong factor that helps inner pages to rank. But PR can also be "circulated" through your own pages even if all your inbound links go only to the domain root. The more your site gets respect and links from other sites, the more likely it is that inner pages will be crawled, indexed and ranked.

And for your second question, yes, Google does sometimes seem to filter out a domain for certain highly competitive search terms but allow it to be show for other searches. That phenomenon can be seen in the combination of filters that make up "sandbox effect" but it also can show up in other cases.

If you are thinking you see something like this, it could be a sign that either 1) you haven't established enough trust with Google [webmasterworld.com], or 2) they suspect you of playing some low level manipulation games on them. I say low level, because being caught at anything major would probably just wipe you out.
