Found a small jewel today.

Now, what do I do with it?

We snagged a nice little expired keyword domain today to redirect to an interior page with matching content on our main site.

The niche URL has PR2 and a dozen+ decent G links remaining.

I tossed up a 301 for now, but the URL is probably best suited to be optimized for the base URL keyword as it has good potential to rank in this small keyword pond.

My question/concern is on how to best go about it for keeps.

My choices are to do a feature article with a static link pointing out, or a lightly optimized teaser with either a static link or java redirect timed out to redirect in about 10 or more seconds.

I'd love to do the latter, but worry that it might raise a flag.

What is the over/under on this these days?

Javascript redirects are forbidden.

Ask the SEO of BMW motor company about this, and what happens to the web site of a world wide known car company, for applying javascript redirects.
