Get it up in another country?

#4 when i do a google search from my desk for my company.

then i shift languages via googles search tools, and im not anywhere to be found on the SERPs....

how in the world do i optimize for another country?

or should i not even worry about that, becuase it might throw a wrench in my ranking in the US?
