Hi,

We create many unique pages under the guide directory.

it is over 40 days already, but google still not find those pages, still not cache those pages.

While Yahoo, msn cached those pages long time already.

what should we do to let google cache those page? I remember brett told that should create one page per day and then put online.

This new created page should have a link at homepage? Cannot just put at subdirectory and cannot be two click away from homepage?

thanks

If Yahoo and MSN have crawled your site then Google will also crawl your pages. Just wait for some more time. Yes sometime may be for better crawlabilty it is better to put a link from the home page.

Do you have inbound links to your page from other sites or only depend of an url submit?

If you only have submitted your url and wait then that waiting time can be of about 2 months and is not sure.

I would just like to add to this thread, that Googlebot has not been around to visit my new website this week at all, however I have got a good few number of really good backlinks to the website.

Its rather weird, as the website is ranking for some three word terms on page two and three. I used to always see GoogleBot blasting through my new websites...

Don't know if this means anything but it might mean Google is planning an update so crawling is not on the high on the to do list?

If it is a new website and you are worrying about anything other than the home page, just stop. Never plan on having a website fully crawled within 3 months of launch.

Google is unpredictable in how the crawl new sites. It is helpful to get deep links and have good site navigation, but there is no way to force it to speed up. You can only encourage it.

Seriously, if it is less than three months old, don't even look at your Google stats. It will just exasperate you.

For me I forget about using sitemaps totally.

The higher PR my site gets, the higher crawlibility and therefore finding new pages more quickly.

Maybe the site is punished by google?
why the googlebot is so lowsy that it cannot find new created pages with unique contents.

johnlim9988,

Try getting several more links to your website.
- See link dev. forum.

Make sure your whole website can be crawled.
- Use a sim spider.

Give it another month.
- Keep on building pages and good content that people want to read.

- Get some more links.
