Until June 27th, I thought my sites are extrem stable.

I did not discuss here, for what, brings nothing.

Since June 27th, I spent much time here, to evaluate theories to escape penalties.

It seems all the great medicines, I invented as a SEO around 2001, are turning now to poison.

I hope after finishing this reconfiguration, I will find this forum again terrible boring and uninteresting.

Adding fresh content is always a good thing. Remember that search engines like to see the keywords in certain places. When you change a page in some significant way, check that the keywords are still where they need to be. Aside from that, I wouldn't worry about it. Go round up one more inbound link per week, that is a supremely important thing to do.

Nope, not a full time job at all. Then again, I don't bother looking at a "primary keyword" and never have. I look for total traffic from the various sources and only occasionally look at the top delivering keywords.

Actually, I do have to admit to trying for specific keywords. If a company does me wrong, they might end up regretting it. They tend to keep the #1 spot, but the #2-10 get loaded up with bad reviews from various sources that suddenly gain some links from my best sites. But even that isn't a full time job.

I think most people are here because they are in the Google hell for violating the 11th commandment on the desperate search for the text of the 11th commandment.

Google is by far the most important search engines around. Optimizing for Google takes the hell out of you. You have to be updated with all the news and updates. Link Exchangge well i think related site linking to you is good enough but again link exchange solely for the sake of exchange wont help you in the long run.

I don't optomize for Google or any search engine. I really just use common sense. I keep it very simple, add new content and let links find me. Perhaps I'd gain a bit if I tried a few different techniques, but what has worked for me in the past continues to work now. I'm not a fan of PR, but do believe that "trust rank" is where most search engines set their sights.
