new tools in webmaster central?

crawlrate and enhanced image search

Today I noticed some new things in my wemaster central account: the diagnostic page now shows information about the crawl-rate additionally, and it also gives us the option to apply to enhanced image search.

Wasn't this something they already temporarily tried in early August but just gave broken links?
When has this been fully implemented?

These new features have been up for a little while now, a great way to keep updated on the newest and greatest features of Webmaster central is their official blog which describes the functions you have noticed in detail.
