I was watching in Sitemaps one of my sites stuck on "Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Oct 18, 2006" for couple of weeks while other sites in my accounts were slowly progressing to more recent dates as time went on. Today I looked at the site that was stuck on Oct. 18 and it now says Oct. 8!
How is that possible? Did they roll a dataset back recently or is it an isolated problem with my particular site?
