I have a retail site that's been online for about 5 years. It currently sees 200-250 unique non-robotic IPs per day, and basically all of them originate from organic search listings. I'd like to move this site to a more generic domain so I can sell a wider variety of products.
Is setting up some 301 redirects about all that can be done? How effective can I expect that to be, and how long should it take? I should probably do this after the holidays.
