Are Google cache search words always highlighted?

I was wondering if Google cache is always highlighting the search words. Is this true?
Where can I find a good article about this (why they do this)?
Thanks a lot

Yes, search terms are always highlighted if they occur on the cached page. If not, there's an explanation in the top section "these terms only appear in pages that link to this page: keywordA keywordsB"

No article that I know of -- it's just a help for the searcher to locate the relevnt parts of the page for their search.

I have noticed that the url and the words 'current page' & 'cached text' displayed in the google cache header are sometimes formatted differently. Sometimes underlined and sometimes in bold.
Is there any significance to which way google displays it.
