October 30: major shifts in the SERPs? or just minor inconsistencies?

What are people seeing today?

We lost 000s of pages from the Google results on October 20, although nothing like as consistently as over the summer; some have popped in and out all week. But I think there was more movement today, October 30 - has anyone seen big changes, or just inconsistencies, like us?

All of our rankings remain stable. Some minor ranking changes, all upwards by a rank or two, we've even unseated bbc in a few.

Traffic remains better - despite our pick up in rankings from a few weeks ago, traffic was still not quite back, but now, as has ben for 2 weeks or so, traffic remains high with a "correct" ratio between organic and paid google.

So, no abrupt "bad" changes to report from our corner in the past 2 days!
